Use it with slides in ??

I am asking if the bed can be used for sleeping with the bedroom slide all the way in on my 2015 Reflection 337RLS?

    or

Will the weight cause harm to the slideroom and slide operation?

    Thanks, Mike

It will be interesting to hear what GD might say but I would think bouncing down the road would put more stress on the slide than what ever you might be doing in there sleeping of course.

    Hi Mike (@gr8daggett),

I am asking if the bed can be used for sleeping with the bedroom slide all the way in on my 2015 Reflection 337RLS?
Yes it can, as long as you can get in and out safely.

Using the bed in the 337 with the slide in wouldn't be a problem as the base is supported with rollers to move it in and out. I wouldn't recommend using the dining table or theater seats with the slide in as the floor is not supported and could be damaged.

For what it's worth--RIVA tech advised us to be very careful with the Schwintek bedroom slide as the rollers are plastic and very susceptible to wear/damage from weight. When asked about how much weight could/should one put in the storage compartment he replied, "none". His advice was to remove items from the storage compartment prior to operation. Soooooo.....we are trying to remove items, close/open slide and then replace items back into the bin. Kind of a hassle but everything is in totes so it doesn't take too long. Just something to think about and of course your mileage may very.

That little more detail makes sense Dave.

Just wondering in case I wanted to pull the slides in and hunker down in a storm.

Very interesting, on my 303RLS, the entire Schwintek bedroom slide is our closet (1 double and a single) and a bathroom closet. Load those things up with all your clothes/towels/bath stuff you have some weight there. Wonder what the RIVA tech would say to that, unload your closets before moving slides???? Wife would go nuts and demand a different camper!
