Thanks Dan - one RV is enough
Sorry we didn't get a chance to hook up and yes - Aug-Sep trip!
So far, trip is going well except more broken screws and I left a set of keys on the tonneau while working on the gooseball - gone somewhere in TN and the two extra sets the dealer gave us aren't for our trailer..... Heading home a couple of days early from NC - one of the dogs is ill and daughter is soooo busy. Cutting our trip from 30 days to 26 but so far, so good.Robin & John

Looks like it all began in April or sooner.

IMO it's a boon for GD and a bust for the buyer. The buyer is going in to deal at MSRP on a GD product, while across the street another buyer is looking at an advertised 30% off MSRP before even walking in the unit.
Assuming equal products which for the most part thats the case, where would you want to go to start dealing?

Well, as in any product, to the savvy buyer it really makes no difference. They could care less what MSRP or MAP is because they have done their homework and have some reasonable idea as to what the trailer they want is going to sell for.
As for the other buyers, they are going to pay what the dealer asks regardless of the starting point. No disrespect to dealers intended.2020 Reflection 273MK

Before I cancelled my F-350 order we looked at a 320 and 350G, and a couple different valor models. The valor dealer had 2 of the same model, with the exact same options and set up. One was ordered in January, one in April. The one ordered in April was listed at $40k more.
All of the toy haulers are still sitting on the dealers' lots 3 months later.
best strategie on keeping unit...
