Website ads - reduced use

I don’t know how to contact the moderators and think this needs to be discussed. I find that I am visiting this website less and less for a variety of reasons. I use an iPhone so your experience may be different. In fact, I have no complaints when using my laptop.

The pop up ads, redirects to Taptalk and inserted ads are driving me crazy. I can’t seem to visit this site without multiple redirects, and Taptalk error messages. I have just about given up on visiting with my phone. This is a great resource but it is becoming just too cumbersome.

What do you think?

I can't say I have noticed that. I have an adblocker on the computer but I visit with my Iphone all the time and haven't had any noticeable issues. Once in a great while it will ask me if I want to continue with safari or taptalk but its once every couple weeks at most. I can't say for sure its not happening, but it hasn't been noticeable to me.

You should be able to pick "full site" instead of using Taptalk, that's what I do.

It might be like the You Toobs or the Twitter maybe?

But my guess is it is an app for reading/posting in forums because I see "posted by Taptalk" here and there. I don't use an iPhone because I can't buy into the hype. But there may be a setting to turn off pop ups somewhere.

I use Tapatalk for Android and have no issues with this forum. I can't speak to visiting it on the computer or phone browser though. When I visit on on the computer, it's rare, and I have a good adblocker, so I don't notice any redirects I'd there were any.

Tapatalk inserts its own ads - we are unable to control this.

The forum has a simple mobile interface available but you have to select it from the full browser version. Look for the style picker in the lower left corner of the website and choose one of the mobile options from the drop down menu.

Along with Janets suggestion also select full site
on the bottom of the main page. Also on my browser I select desktop view. Mobil view is what you get by default if on a phone or tablet
Another option to get rid of ads is to become a site sponsor by clickin on paid membership on the bar above the forum sections.. $12 a year
