Leaking slideout hydraulic cylinders on 2019 solitude GK 310.

Wondering if anyone has had problems with hydraulic leaks on slideouts. Unit has only been used around 30 times in 3 years. Not many times for cylinders to be cycled in and out. Noticed oil on ground during first trip of the year. At dealer now to replace both cylinders and clean up mess under coroplast. Going to be a expensive process for a unit used so little.

Some things work better when they work often. Seals can dry out when not used much. After sitting in one spot for a long period of time, the seal can become stuck to the shaft and be damaged when the shaft is moved, resulting in a leak. Or there could have been a nick in the hard chrome and the shaft got a teensy bit of rust started, that damaged the seal. Probably a good idea to run them in and out a few times every couple months.

Had one replaced under warranty in the first 6 months of ownership because of a leak. Worked the cylinders often. My leak was a cylinder, made worse by a bad fix which put a hole in the fluid return line-which soaked the insulation on the coroplast. I fought with GD to replace that & the coroplast instead of having it taped up. I've had a hydraulic landing leg replaced also due to a leak.

Lippert knows a little about a lot, but not a lot about anything, especially on hydraulics. JMHO
