Replacing black tank sensor on my Solitude 3740

I understand how the sensors work. There is no reading/light at the display. Maybe it's a loose or bad connection on the sensor wire. When I explained the problem to the dealership they assured me it was a bad sensor. Regardless of being bad or a loose connection, I would like the problem fixed. If I have to fix it, I'll probably install Horst Miracle Probes while I'm at it. I don't want to start a thread on dealership help/quality!

I think you are referring to hydraulic lines for the slide. Brake lines are rigid 1/4" metal lines.

My Momentum has the factory hydraulic disc brake option. And yes, I had over 20' of ridgid brake lines laying on the concrete.

I'm in the midst of replacing my sensors (cleaning wouldn't work.) Your problem sounds to be wiring/connection problem. I found several connections that were not very secure (beefed up now) so you may find something as simple as a loose wire.

I'm installing the Horst probes, hopefully they will be very reliable.

If I were you, I would drop the whole belly, lots of stuff to check and fix to insure many years without issues.

just drop the belly. start from whatever end is the closest to your tank. its really not that hard. I've done in a half dozen times adding insulation, fixing leaks, and now finding a cracked grey tank. But dont use the original sensors, get the horst.

Thanks, I'll tackle this as soon as I finish pouring my 4,100 sq ft slab. I really don't like pouring concrete in these 100+ degree AL temperatures!

Keep it damp so it won't crack! Keep yourself cool so you don't crack!
