Mystery Wire/Tube. 265BH
I have a 265BH. Today I noticed 2 tubes/wires hanging by my driver side rear wheel. It appears to come from the underbelly and not the axel. I do not see anything like it on the other wheels. All my lights and brakes are working. Any ideas what this is and where they should connect.

Could those be the brake wires for that axle? On the other end of the axle, there should be a hole in the axel with two wires coming out of it. Just like in the picture you show. Do those wires (on the other end of that axle) connect to the brake (again, like you show in the picture) AND go up into the frame? If not, then your broken wires are definitely the feed from the trailer to the brakes on that axel.

I agree with Chris. If you look close at those connectors you may be able to see where the wires were connected. Also, the other axle should have the same setup.
EDIT: If you don't have any wires dropping down to the axles from the belly, you have no brakes!Last edited by JCR GD; 06-13-2022 at 07:32 AM.

Are you saying you have wires hanging loose (not connected) like the OP?
The normal brake wire routing is from tongue/kingpin, along the frame rail on one side and then drop down to each axle & brake on one side, route through each axel and connect to the brake on the other side. You should have wires dropping down from the frame (2 wires for each axle), but they should connect to the brakes on that side and to the cross over wires inside the axles.
