Mod on Bathroom Sink to Prevent water going on floor
My wife was getting tired of water running off bathroom sink counter on the floor so we decided to explore ways to minimize the water on the floor. I looked on Amazon but the sink splashes were almost an inch wide & a half inch tall. I went to an auto parts store & bought black door trim guard for $4. We split it through the seam because it is designed for a car door edge not the right angle on a bathroom sink. The trim guard has an adhesive but it was only good enough to sort of hold it in place. After installing the trim we put down painters tape on the counter with only a small space between the tape & the trim. Next we ran clear caulk between the trim & the tape with some caulk under the trim to hold it in place.
The end result looks pretty good. We used black door guard to match our shower door frame but you could use clear trim.

Nice work Ray, looks like it was made for that sink.
