Dometic Rooftop Air Conditioner, 15,000 BTU - not cold
I have a 2018 337RLS and rear AC blowing semi-cool but not nearly cold as it used to be. Since I've never had any issues before I'm just not sure where to start. Looks like I can purchase off Amazon a replacement but not sure if better to try and find a service tech for a possible other fix. Sounds like it would be coolant leak but just guessing.
Also is buying a replacement unit to match an easy install.
I'm fairly a hands-on person
Thanks

Have you done a thorough cleaning? That can solve some inefficiency problems. Have also heard moving the temp probe around in the heat sink fins will help tune it. It also may have totally fallen off.

Well that stinks. It’s really a plug and play for wiring. You’ll be de-energizing the 120 of course. Then just plan on a good seal job and not over tightening the mount bolts as they can deform the drip tray and let water into the coach. Careful on the lifting. Good luck and sorry for your trouble.

Yea that stinks.
Not that many hours on that unit.
Found one to replace for about 1K.
Guess it could be worse.Glenn Apex, NC 2018 Reflection 337RLS

I would check that the compressor is running. If it's not it could be something easy like a broken or loose wire or a bad starter capacitor. If the compressor is running it's probably lost refrigerant and you need a new unit. That's where I'm at, my 10 month old unit needs replacing.
Just be careful up there and good luck with troubleshooting.
