OneControl App
Anyone using the OneControl app with lippert tire linc having issues? When towing, I can connect it, but FREQUENTLY lose connection & it takes a long time to reconnect, if at all, and I can also no longer view the voltage.
Not sure what to do.

I just looked at the app again and the voltage wasn’t on the first page
I went to the mode tab and it was there and now appears on the front page
Maybe try going through the modes

I've had issues with all versions of OneControl, in particular - tirelinc. I'm happy with the layout, but the programming is glitchy. Kind of like it's still in beta testing. Frequent comm drops, re-requesting pin entry, randomly locking out features saying vehicle is in motion...days after being set up at camp and functioning earlier...
One thing I did that reduced comm drops was turning off the 'screen off' function of the phone. If the phone never went to 'screen off' mode, the comms are more solid...not perfect, but much better.2018 Dodge 3500 6.7 Cummins SRW w/Aisin

I think the problem is the transmitting range of the TireLinc transponder in the belly or basement. From inside the coach it is instantaneous. Drive down the road and from the cab it takes a while to get updated information. The wife is my tire girl and I tell her she needs to hold her iPhone up high. Typically it works. I have a plan to move the transponder up into our closet to get it about 8’ off the ground to have a more direct line of sight with the cab. I like the TireLinc from either CC or OC.

I went with an aftermarket TPMS for all these reasons. FWIW, at least in my Rig, the "prewired docking station" was nothing more than a cheap plastic part with power to it. I just snipped that out and installed my aftermarket repeater with a switch on those same wires.

I have not had good luck with Lippert OneControl. But, we just completed 4700 miles and Compass Connect with Tire Linc was rock solid once I got the global settings where they needed to be due to temperature and road variations. I had no issues losing sync.
