    I joined flat spring club

Hi folks, I think I joined the flat springs club.

    Drivers side (kitchen slide).

Question, would it be a good solution to get the 3k 5 spring set up for 6k axle on the drivers side? Keep the curb side @2600k lbs?

Looking for a bit of advice.

    I have the reflection 315rlts

    Picture to follow.

    Thanks,

What kind of weight are you seeing to make you lean towards uneven spring rates?

I did some review of similar rigs with the kitchen slide (refer, micro, stove/oven and pantry all on the slide so I figure at least 400.-500 pounds difference.

But you haven't weighed yours? If it were me, I'd actually get some weights and numbers before I started adjusting things. That way you know from where you're starting.

I weighed it last year and just the axles in general not left to right, so you are correct just going on what I have seen in similar. I know it’s heavier but guesstimating the actuals.

We had side-to-side weights on our Reflection 337 (a bit heavier than the 315) and the street side was about 700 lbs. heavier than the curb side.

Definitely one side worse than the other.

Posting a pic of the curb side

Certainly not the greatest pics but if you zoom in you can see.

About how many miles on US Interstate Highways does it take to make a spring flat?

Can they be replaced fairly easily via DIY?

Is is recommended to replace just one side if only one side is flat?

    Roughly speaking maybe 9k miles.

I think it is pretty straightforward to replace the springs. Unfortunately it mushrooms out. If I replace the springs, might as well do all the shackles, equalizers and wet bolts.
