2022 Reflection RV Airflow AC mod

Has anyone installed the RV airflow mod on a GE 15000 BTU unit? If so, how did it work? Did it improve cooling and noise? Was the mod hard to do? Worth $170?
    TIA

Can’t speak to GE ac, but I installed one on each ac and yes, makes a huge difference.

@Rickslick I did not do the GE unit, I have the Coleman Mach unit. In my case the airflow was noticeably improved. However, the decibel level remained about the same, around 61-63 as I recall. I did not pay retail, $170. Since Grand Design installs theses units, You can order through your dealer with the correct part number. I think I paid about $75 including tax and shipping. Good luck with your mod.

That is correct. The unit from RV airflow has instructions, foil tape, foam sealer and two new plastic inserts, does not tally up to a hundred dollar difference. The actual foam insert is awesome!!!
