Looking at getting one why you go with 24 volts?
Any advantages to 24v over 12v ?

Yes, via Ohm’s and Watt’s Laws, 24v is more efficient. With the same Solar Charge Controller, 24v batteries can have double the PV watts that a 12v battery bank can use. Wiring and fuses are scaled down = saves money. Safety factor is better when using 2400W or more W inverters. I have a step down 24v to 12v converter ($70), so 12v lights and other draws are fine. Inverters R Us has A+ tech support. Will Prowse has a good video on a simple 12v to 24v comparison.

Will sure is smart in the solar arena and enthusiastic. Inverters R Us has been super helpful. Plus, they programmed my MultiPlus-II for my 24-volt battery bank.

The pic on Inverters R US website shows a 12v Multi+ 2. Can you show a pic of the front of your inverter?

You could probably find a pic on Victron's website. To my knowledge the case s are the same, just different electronics on the inside.

Perhaps you could compare the size specifications between the 12v and 24v Inverters. If the sizes are the same then it is my guess both Inverters will look the same.
