Toasted Lippert - Need To Go Manual

My Lippert Controller screen is pixelating so bad it can’t be read. It’s a Sunday and we need to go home tomorrow. Our 307Mks has 4 jacks. I have never tried to operate them manually. The two rear jacks are under slide outs,I assume I need access to the tops of the jacks. The front jacks I think I can get to them.

Truthfully guys, is this possible to do? If so, any advice? Thanks

What about the outside jack control panel on the left front of the unit, left of the front storage bay door? Not sure if the 2017 model years had them but I would think they did.

That looks like the fuse panel for the levelers, on my Reflection, there is a manual control panel on the front of the coach on the driver's side slightly above the hatch to the front storage compartment. One activates the controls by pressing the up and down arrows simultaneously and releasing them. A small light comes on to indicate the controls are active.

If you have to manually retract the levelers. Here are the two ways for the rear jacks.

There is a way to manually retract the jacks on your Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System # LC358590.

I have cut out a portion of the directions which goes over what you need to do:

    Top of Jack Motor Override:
Tools needed:3/8” drive ratchet and extension (no socket)
    1. Find the port on the top of the jack motor
    2. Remove the rubber plug
    3. Insert the 3/8” drive into the port
    4. Turn override until the jack extends or retracts to desired position.

    Bottom of Jack Motor Override:
Tools needed:3/8” drive ratchet and extension, 5/16” socket
    1. Find the port on the bottom of the jack motor
    2. Remove the rubber plug
    3. Insert the 5/16” socket into the port
    4. Turn override until the jack extends or retracts to desired position.

SoundSailor replied to you with my answer to your question.

I see another reply on this thread that does tell you how to maually retract the jacks with a socket and rachet.

I thought I saw instructions somewhere (maybe next to my main jack controller circuit board which is the device you sent a pix of) that told me how to bypass the controller and feed power directly to the individual jacks. Assuming the jack motors are good - and there's no reason to believe they are not, I would think all you have to do is disconnect the thicker red & black cable connection from the circuit board and jumper 12 volt power to this connection bypassing the controller. Or connect power to the jack at the electric plug connection at the jack itself. The jack motor must be reversable to it can go up and down unless there is something else (another controller of sorts) involved in getting it to switch directions. Just spit balling here.

Warning - I've not tried this nor recommend this unless you are extremely familiar with the jack system which I am not. However, I do wonder why the mobile tech didn't try it. Maybe it can't safely be done.

Maybe there's someone else on this forum with the expertise.

This is the outside control unit on our 2021. I like using it more than the inside panel. Sounds like your unit doesn’t have it. Click image for larger version.

Mike-no such outside panel on the 2017. Should be, the main panel is in the large pass through storage wall. Have to be a contortionist to operate it.

    Need a wiring schematic

    Eddie,
I went over an looked at my 341RDS. Your picture of the jack circuit board shows you each jack main power (thicker Red & Black wires) and the 3 thinner wire control circuit wiring (Red, Black & White) - in each corner of the circuit board - one for each jack. These 2 sets of wires go to each corresponding jack assembly. Mine is similar. You'd need a wiring schematic to determine which wires control up and down and the proper power hookup so you're stuck with the manual retraction method.
