Battery Disconnect Question / Power Issue
I am not getting 30amp power when the battery disconnect is disconnected. I know my 30amp is good, The surge is reading 30amp all green as well. This is a brand new 2022 265BH and I can't figure this out for the life of me. I am trying here before I start my service calls this morning.
I have verified no breakers are tripped
I have verified the GFCI is ok, I can test and reset
I have verified no fuses are blow in the panel
Not sure what else to look for now. Any assistance in future troubleshooting would be appreciated.

Do you have solar and an inverter. Lots of things to check there if you do. Do you have the little blue light where shore power plugs in?

Yes, I have Solar and Inverter. I have a Green light on the plug (where there's a green / red indicator) but never noticed / looked for a blue light. Are you saying it should be where I plug shore into camper?
I'm at work, but will run home at lunch to get answers...

My receptacle for shore power on the outside of the rig has a little blue light on the cover which indicates that power is at least at that point
Your inverter may have a transfer switch that is not switching for some reason. Or maybe even a gfi on the inverter. Others here will know more.
I assume if you turn the batteries on all is well. So. Kinda points to the solar/inverter/ xfer switch stuff.

A couple of thoughts...
The battery disconnect has nothing to do with shore power 30amp.
If GFCI will test trip and reset, it has power.

So, essentially nothing is working when plugged into 30-amp and battery is disconnected (at the switch). I know 30-amp is hot, and gfci in bathroom will test and reset. Though radio/lights/thermostat nothing will light up. Strangely enough though, TV will power on, and I think I hear the fridge fan kick on, but don't wait long enough to see if it cools.
I've submitted a case to RV Complete, will work with a tech in 30min or so...2022 Transcend Xplor 265BH / 2018 Sierra 1500 Elevation Edition

Your 30 amp service is working. It the 12v systems that aren't. The ACs (since the thermostats use 12v), the water pump, the radio is 12v, lights are 12v, etc.
You have to have your disconnect switch on for all those things to work.Larry KE4DMG

As stated above, everything you listed as not working are 12 volt. Turn that battery disconnect back on and you should be good to go.

OK, again, with the disconnect on, it does not pull 30-amp, and the battery drains. Yes, I get lights and radio until the battery drains. But it's not using the Shore power even though it's live.
They are dispatching a mobile tech. Just walked them through the issue.2022 Transcend Xplor 265BH / 2018 Sierra 1500 Elevation Edition

Converter fuses are blown then. Assuming you checked the breaker marked "converter" and that it is not tripped.
If your TV works, you are certainly pulling 30 amp service. Your Air conditioner works?
Your disconnect has absolutely nothing to do with 30 amp service.Last edited by huntr70; 06-27-2022 at 11:23 AM.
