We have an iPad Pro and are trying to connect it to our TLC tv to watch downloaded movies. Does anyone know how we can do this? We’ve purchased the hdmi cable and an Apple USB-c to digital AV adapter, but no matter what hdmi port on the tv we try, it will not mirror the ipad.

Does it work in that configuration at home?

Also, if it's a Roku TV, it should have solar AppleCast available on it. Take a look at the manual.

Try Mirror Miester, or if you have a Roku or Firestick you could connect to that.

First off, it looks like you're new here @Kathy7273, welcome to the forum. When you plug your cable into the TV HDMI ports and select that input on the TV, what sort of message does the TV give you? If the TV reports no signal, the iPad may not be properly configured to use the port. I use the HDMI port on my TV and it works fine.

I use the Apple Adapter and an HDMI cable all the time to connect my iPhone to our TCL Roku TV. Just switch the TV input to the appropriate HDMI input. If you are trying to use some mirroring app or setting, don’t

Okay, unfortunately that didn't help. What model number is it?

Does your iPad work with the cables you bought on your home TV?

First off, it looks like you're new here @Kathy7273, welcome to the forum. When you plug your cable into the TV HDMI ports and select that input on the TV, what sort of message does the TV give you? If the TV reports no signal, the iPad may not be properly configured to use the port. I use the HDMI port on my TV and it works fine.

Thanks for the welcome. No matter what hdmi port on the tv I try, it says no signal. I’m using the Apple usb-c to hdmi av adapter
