Aluminum Quad Steps are finally available

How can I obtain two sets of the new Aluminum Quad steps instead of the three I have on my toy hauler? The one like this

I saw this posted on another forum and thought it would be great to replace mine. I checked Lipperts website http://lci1.com/alumi-tread and it shows it available. I really would like this as that last step down can be quite far in most areas with the height my Momentum sits. I would be willing to pay the difference between what the triple and quad cost.

That's nice. It would be nice if they made that last step removable for parks that have a cement pad there.

I was just at a park with cement pads. I still needed a step below the third one so that my pregnant wife wouldn't fall. When the unit is setup, typically the last step is still about 16" from the ground.

We purchased the 4 steps with landing and side rails from RV-co.com. They have not come in yet, but we are hoping our pup will brave these steps in spite of her 3 leg operations. We will add some carpet for gripping her little paws.

I would have loved to have 4 steps but this design isnt quite what I had in mind. Adding the last step darn near on the ground does nothing for the excessive rise of the steps. If they added the 4th step, made the bottom a little closer to the ground and split the difference on the rise over all the steps this would have fit my my perception of what they need to do and should do right from the factory The standard configuration wouldn't meet building codes due to the excessive rise if they actually had to meet those codes. This is the wifeys one and only complaint with the RV. She has bad knees from rowing boats in high school and college and threw out her left knee when we were moving out of the old and into the new simply due to the stock steps excessive rise. We will be parked at a seasonal site for a few years until the brats ship off to college so in the mean time I built stairs with a 3x3 landing that almost meet code. Lack of a hand rail is the only short coming. I didn't include that because I didn't want it on the right where the door would hit it and on the left the awning and the built in collapsible hand grab are in the way. Don't really need a handrail anyhow with a 7.5 inch rise and 5 steps that are 3 ft wide. This shot of Murphy the lab testing out the paver placement shows the general jest of things.

I personal tried the quad step out with the metal ones. That last step does make a huge difference when it comes to the height of these units. I would have like the metal ones, but now that I have the aluminum that are light weight, I would like to have them in aluminum.

Our answer was the Camco 43676 adjustable height platform step (from Amazon). We have as a step if it we need it. Many uses if we don't need the step. Cost $61.00 lots less expensive that buying a new set of steps.

I looked at those, but its a glorified high dollar step stool, but it doesn't step as high as one. I was looking for a more permanent solution as a lot of the campers come with the metal quad steps already.
