    Roof and sap avoidance?

If you know you will be unde r a tree and might have some sap, is there anything that can be used temporarily to protect roof itself. A sacrificial coating or some other thought.

If I do some sort of sheeting I would need a way to keep it down.....thoughts?

    Thanks

I've never heard of any such thing, but my first thought would be that it would be more trouble than it's worth.

It happens. It doesn't hurt the roof. A bit of light scrubbing may help but I just clean it up a bit and move on. After all, it's a roof.

Different story tho when it falls on my truck - then it has to be removed.
