    Shower Ceiling Quality

    Why is the shower ceiling skylight made of such poor quality? We just picked up our Trailer last week from Warranty work, and now my wife sees a Three-inch crack on the side of our skylight, or is this some interior skin over the shower? Has anyone else’s Shower skylight cracked from whatever in their XLS 22MLE?

    We also had solar panels mounted, but they are all towards the front of the Coach. [emoji35]

    If it wasn't cracked b4 service and they were walking the roof, all it takes is a small mis step and it will crack. I would Call the dealer and see if they'll replace it. We do have a 2nd clear cover in the shower but that has not shown signs of cracking. Not sure if the parts are the same make between the 2 lines.

    We did have a small crack in the corner of ours but it was much smaller than your crack. We sealed it up with silicone then some eternabond tape around the perimiter.

    @KGoesele

    Are you referring to the outer or inner trim for the skylight?

    Here’s a link to the Grand Design Parts Lookup page for your 2022 22MLE.

    Scroll down the page and you will see two trim pieces for the skylight, outer 540156, inner 630039. The inner trim has somewhat of a frost finish on the plastic.

    Looks like the link takes you to the beginning of the selection page. Just select: Imagine 2022, 22MLE, Exterior, Attachments. This will bring you to the page with the skylight trim.

    It’s all good, GD sent me a new Inner Dome, it arrived earlier this week.
