    Momentum 351MS furnace

    Hi!
I recently bought a 2022 351MS and can’t figure out how to turn on the furnace. I have the One Control system and have tried pressing “Heat only”, but nothing comes on. Is there maybe a switch or another step I’m missing? Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!

Since it's warm now, did you turn the thermostat up high enough to get it above the ambient room temp?

BTW - welcome to the forum. You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

    Hi Rob,
Thanks for the info on the signature block. I will check it out.

I waited till the evening time when the room temp was about 70 degrees and tried turning, what I think is the thermostat, to 75 to test it but nothing happened. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Or is 70 degrees room temp still too high for the furnace to come on?

No room temp is too high as long as the thermostat is higher than the room temp. Have you checked all your 12VDC fuses in the distribution center (the electrics in the furnace are 12VDC)? Also - and this may seem obvious - do you have propane and are the tanks turned on? You can purge the LP line by lighting a burner on the cooktop and letting it burn for a minute or two. I don't know anything about the new One Control systems, so we'll have to wait for someone to come along who does if that's the issue.

I do have propane and purged the line using the stove burner, but I haven’t checked the fuses yet. That will be my next check. I didn’t even think about that. Thanks!

On my last RV, my furnace quit. I pulled the panel off on the outside of the RV to have a look. There was a small control board with a flashing light. The flash pattern would tell you the specific fault with a decoder sticker next to the control board. More importantly, a reset switch!! In my case, the code indicated a bad “sail switch” which I pulled out, cleaned up, and got working again. Caution is important with furnaces. If your not confident with how the safety systems work, best to get a certified pro involved. But. The reset switch, at a minimum, may be worth a try.
