    golf cart question

Ok -Its off topic but I do Keep our cart at our campground.? 2006 club car precedent. -48 volt- I did some battery terminal cleaning this weekend. i was surprised to see quite an ark when I tried to put the last negative on. I verified that the lights and key were off and still got quite an ark. Not sure what made me try it but I switched the cart to tow mode (from run mode) and no ark.? Appears that something in the drive train may be drawing current when it shouldn't be. Any ideas?

    Thanks...........

They just do that. I'm not sure why. Probably has to do with the controller. My '97 does it, my '07 did it, I haven't had to disconnect the '22 yet. If there is a run/tow switch maybe put it in tow first; that probably disconnects the batteries from the rest of the vehicle.
