Looking for a GPS that includes height restriction
One thing we’ve come across is the height of the Solitude and low clearances. There are some old railroad crossings, bridges that are sooooo close to our 13’5”. What does everyone use for gps? Waze doesn’t have an additional way to modify, nor does google maps. Thanks I’m advance!!

Almost any GPS that includes the words "trucker" or RV will have that feature. Personally, I use an older model Garmin RV760 that I bought about 4 or 5 years ago. When you set it up, you put in the height, length, and width of the RV. Mine is advertised at 13' 5" also (a Momentum triple axle) and just for a bit of "extra" safety, I put that the trailer was 13' 6" instead of 13' 5". It has worked well for us over the years and since it came with lifetime maps, I try to keep it updated.

Another +1 for Garmin. Keep in mind it won’t route you around low tree branches though which is why we try to a ovoid moving the rig at night.

Garmin RV 770 NA LMT-S. Bought it in Feb of 2020 after a close call with a low bridge the previous October. As for tree branches, you have to watch for the sneaky things. One cost me a Skylight the last time out in June. Amazing how something so seemingly flexible can shatter so easily...

I use a Garmin Nuvi 2539 with Low Clerances POI installed. So far so good. I used a Garmin truck model some years ago, but didn't like it because it avoided any "No Truck" routes.

I don't have much to add about the tools (also use a Garmin RV GPS, RV Trip Wizard, etc.). Just wanted to add one caveat to all this: the devices and routing tools are only as good as the data fed to them. Sometimes state and local authorities are not reliable or prompt about updating information to the various databases when roads have been resurfaced - often raising the road and decreasing the clearance by several inches. As a result, I never rely on "squeak by" situations - always shoot for at least a foot of extra clearance. A good rule of thumb is to watch the semis... if you don't see any in front of you or coming your way, think twice.
