Has anyone used the AUH on a 345GK? All opinions welcome.

Hey @HwyTravler, looks like you're new here, welcome to the forum. We have the AUH, but our Reflection is a lot smaller than the Solitude you mentioned. The AUH has worked very well for us. I especially appreciate how easy it is to remove when I want to use the TV for other purposes.

Since you asked for opinions, , I think the GVWR of the 345GK is higher than I would feel comfortable towing with an Andersen hitch. But, as I said, JMO.

We use the AUH as well. My Reflection isn't as big as your 345, but this is the 3rd fifth wheel we've owned and I've used the AUH on all of them. The last one was a Jayco 377RLBH...a big unit; possibly heavier than your 345. I love how easy it is to use and install/remove. It is a simple design and has performed flawlessly.

I have a 6' bed, so there are times I wish I had an auto slider, but as often as I take the hitch in and out of the truck, the AUH is the one for us. If I had my long bed back, you'd never catch me oogling another man's hitch, but since I have a short bed now, every once in a while I see an auto slider and I think, "boy, that would be nice to have", but then I get my AUH home, unload her with one hand and remember how good I've got it. LOL. Hope that helps.

One other thing I'd say...if I were doing it all over again, I might just eliminate the hitch all together and go with a Reese Goosebox or something similar.

We have used the Andersen Ultimate for three years. As you can see in the signature line our Solitude is heavy. Haven't had any problems.
