Just about any tire shop anywhere can get you Sailuns, but not many will have them in stock. I got mine at Simple Tire. Les Schwab in town wanted way too much.

Looking to replace my G614 LT235/85 R16 tires on my Solitude. Local tire shop advised that they can only get the ST235/85 R16 which are 14 ply with a G rating. Anyone have any knowledge or opinions? Thanks Jim

The classification "ST" instead of "LT" isn't really an issue for those particular tires, IMO. I'd get the Sailun rather than the Goodyear, but I'm a frugal bastiche. And considering I had over 6 years good service with my last Sailun tire, I wouldn't hesitate to do it again, and will.

Thank you for your reply. I had the G614’s on my Solitude for over six years with no issues, so that’s why I’m interested in that tire.

I think they're a decent tire, just way overpriced. IMO of course.

Anyone in the business knows to NOT recommend Les Schwab. If you have to go there, keep your wallet very close to you.
