Tire questions?
Tires on my Momentum are pushing 4 years old and are developing hairline cracks on the sidewalls. So, a friend suggested Les Schwab as they have stores nationwide in the event of any issues. On their website they only show Towstar and Schooner tires. Anyone run these? Thoughts? Then there's a local shop that can get General tires. Thoughts there too. Another thought Americas Tire but they are like 50 miles away. Have some long trips coming up and don't want to take the chance with these cracks in the sidewalls. Opinions please.

I have the Endurance. I guess I like em. How do you know? Not like performance tires on a performance car that you can feel in your stomach how much different they are. I went with a good brand name.
There are some new Hankook tires getting some better reviews as well.Randy and Kris

I've never heard of those two brands. Basically, the only two tires you should consider for your Momentum are the Sailun S637 and the Goodyear G614 - both G-rated and excellent track records. Schwab should be able to order them for you.

My son in law is in the tire business and he is having trouble getting GY Endurance tires at this time. He just replace the tires on his trailer with Hankook ST's. I'm interested to see how they hold up. I do know they make quality vehicle tires.
