Zero point calibration question
Does resetting the zero point just set what is actually level or does it also then return to that same height where it was set?

If I'm understanding your question correctly.....I'll explain it as to what takes place. In order to do the ZPC, you will have to manually level your trailer using whatever level or levels that you may have. I would recommend a 4' carpenter's level, because that will give greater accuracy than say a smaller one. Once it is level, you do the ZPC and the trailer now remembers those settings as "level". There are sensors on the trailer that feedback their readings into the control box, so it looks for those signals to be the same as what was stored in it's memory as "level". Once the stored data is equal to the actual data, you are level. From then on, within reason of course, no matter where you park the trailer, it will seek to attain those same stored values and get you level....whether the site is high front to back or vice versa......or the right side is higher than the left side or vice versa. It will level the trailer as long as there is enough stroke available in the leveling legs.

Only if the OP had the One Control system. For those of us with just the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 system (no One Control), the calibration is set in the Ground Control memory.
As for the OPs question, Zero Point calibration only sets the level of the trailer based on the current trailer parked position. In other words, it only levels the trailer, not to any specific height.
However, the sytem will remember the last known TV disconnect position when executing Auto Reconnect.Jim and Annette

I have successfully re-calibrated, and I even created a post on how to do it, but I still cannot get the Auto Reconnect to bring the trailer back to where we started. I have to eyeball it and make corrections manually. Any tips, hints, or procedures I can try?
Many thanks!2020 Reflection 29RS 5th Wheel

One thing to keep in mind about this. If, after unhitching from your truck, the front of the trailer is above the system level, auto level will not work and will fault out and have to be reset....at least that is how mine works. Once that is done, you lose the original hitch height position. That is supposedly how the system is designed to work. I do have a 2018 and cannot attest that any other model year works the exact same

I have never been able to get it exactly where I disconnected from the TV once I activated Auto Level, but, it does get close. Typically i get within a few inches of where it was prior to selecting Auto Level as long as no other manual adjustments were made once the auto level process completed successfully.
Would assume any settling, use of stabilizers, or even slideout movement could effect the Auto Reconnect final placement. Keep in mind the leveling sensor is located on a thin flimsy metal brace between the frame rails just behind the back rear axle, any movement once leveled could cause a minor (movement of the sensor) discrepancy when using the Auto Reconnect feature. Besides, I would rather fine tune the connection a little wirh it being a bit higher = less stress on the landing gear motor to lower to the TV than to raise.Jim and Annette
