CP4 is gone!

Actually, some 2019s are being repaired. Specifically if 4 other recalls have not yet been performed. This is from the June 22 Service Bulletin for Y78:

2020 (DJ) Ram 2500 Pickup
2020 (DP) Ram 4500/5500 Cab Chassis

REMEDY NOT AVAILABLE

2019* (DD) Ram 3500 Cab Chassis
2019* (DJ) Ram 2500 Pickup
2019* (DP) Ram 4500/5500 Cab Chassis
* Remedy only available for 2019 models with open Recall W57,
VB6, W03 or Y21.

I can't imagine how frustrating this must be but most of the 4 recalls impacted both years.

W57 inadequate warmup protection 2019-2020 (my 2020 received this PCM flash) - two different flashes depending upon which version CP4 (mine was old asymmetrical version)
VB6 was an emissions flash of the PCM on 2019 only
W03 transmission (68RFE only) fluid pressure build up causing leak 2019-2020 requiring PCM flash
Y21 Oil Life monitor strategy may allow too low engine oil volume 2019-2020 requiring PCM flash

My Ram 3500 is scheduled for the HPFP change July 25.
For those who have had their recall pump installed how
long did the dealer require to complete the service?

FCA allocates 3.5 hours if just the pump replaced and PCM needs to be flashed. If they find evidence of debris, can be longer to flush or change injectors, fuel tank, rails, and filters. I dropped min off Wed evening and got it back Friday morning but I had other stuff done also.

Titan 55 gallon tank going in Wednesday now that the CP4 recall is finished - YEA!

Recall work done Thurs-Fri. Picked it up today - about 100 miles from dealer to home. Smoother and more responsive to throttle. So far I'd say the trucks performance is much better. I'll go out on a limb and say my fuel mileage appears to have improved also.

I just got mine done last week too. It does seem more responsive doesn't it? I was upset that the dealer gave it back to me with greasy hand prints on the hood and my power steps weren't coming out either.
