How is GVW, UVW, and CCC calculated by GD?

I'm getting a 2150 RB and trying to figure out how GD calculates their numbers for the placard.

Things I'm trying to figure out. There's a discrepancy between the GVW and CCC on the placard.

Is the uvw calculated with or without the following: filled propane tanks, house battery, mattress, roof top AC?

I use the search junction repeatedly but couldn't seem to find the answer to these.

Also do we know if the freshwater carrying capacity counts or does not count the water in the hot water heater?

    Hi Chaostactics,

The numbers look right to me GVWR-UVW=CCC
The manufacturers do not weigh with propane or batteries, and the tongue or pin weights are based on that UVW, so it will be on the light side.

Again, these numbers don’t look wrong. Low ccc, but looks ok.

Just to clarify, UVW isn’t calculated, it is measured.

When I ran the numbers on mine , CCC was 60 pounds less than GVW less measured UVW. I figured it was to account for propane.

There is still a lot of confusion on this as it changed. I forget what year it was, but it was when they stated using the yellow stickers. Though they do not weigh with filled tanks, they DO figure it into the ratings. I know my 2010 Sabre with the yellow sticker was that way. My 2001 Wilderness with the white sticker was not.
IMO this is such a trivial amount of weight, that if it is important to you.... Then you are overloaded.

Propane tanks and batteries are variables... I don't think they come installed from the factory but are added by the dealer, and tank sizes/weights are going to vary.

I believe propane tanks are installed but delivered empty. The transporter uses his/her own battery for breakaway purposes during transport, but it is not included in the factory weights. The dealer adds battery/batteries prior to delivery to the customer and fills the LP tanks. Each model comes with a specific size of tanks, so that doesn't vary within a model.
