Portable travel bin cage
Hi everyone,
Normally I go camping without my gerbils (Benny and Topie) because their glass terrarium (40 Gallons) it's too heavy and difficult to handle...... me and the wife figure out a way to make a portable bin out of a plastic Sterlite storage bin .
Still, while on the road we don't put their water bottle in it cuz it can be dangerous, what we do is to give them watery foods like cucumbers and check on them every time we stop. When we get to the camp site we now add them their water bottle.
So far it's worked more than fine but we are always open to any suggestions or tips In the photos unfortunately you can only see "Benny", "Topie" is such a shy little one when it comes to photos hehe

Sure is hard to leave our little pals at home. We have a soft carrying case for our cat, something like that could work for your friends.
