    Oooops

Camping last week at yogi bear when a pop up tent flew and hit my trailer. Anyone have any good ideas on how to patch this up? Maybe a paint pen or something?Click image for larger version.

Looking closely at your photo the finish (not the color) looks like the finish on the front cap of our XLS 22mle which is aluminum with baked-on paint. Check your Owner’s manual under Exterior Care, it might give some info. I would also contact Grand Design CS to verify and ask for repair ideas. You can see if your dealer has any suggestions too.

If it is aluminum with baked-on paint you can also do a Google search for repair tips, maybe some enamel paint and a small artist brush?

Please follow up with what you find. I have one or two small scratches on our front cap I would like to fix at some point.

I called grand design. They emailed the paint department and the response was that there is no paint codes for metal units. I went to oreilly auto parts and bought a dupli-color universal semi gloss black paint pen. Gonna try it out and see if it works. Will post a pic tomorrow after it dries over night.
