What is the trick to getting them to take grease? Trailer is level but on a down slope so I'm not sure the suspension is in a correct position based upon some of the threads I've read. Doubt if there was any grease in any of the wet bolts or if there was, well everything looks very dry....

    Things to try:
Locking coupler on grease gun (link below)
    High pressure grease gun
Pull the zerks and make sure they are not plugged
Jack up the trailer by the frame (get level and block the wheels and or hitch up first)
Replace the wet bolts and bushings.

If none of them take grease perhaps your grease gun is not up to the pressure needed. Seems at least a few of them should take grease. How old is your rig?

Example of a fairly high pressure gun with locking fitting.

Many claim here that jacking up the rig by the frame. Even just a little bit. Will allow grease to flow.

Picked it up April and put about 4700 miles on it so far. Dewalt grease gun with red-n-tacky. Lock-n-lube should be here Tuesday. Will try hitching up first but have two floor jacks and stands to try if that doesn't work. Given how crusty the zerks feel and how dry/surface rusty everything is, be surprised if they were ever greased.

Just need to remove some of the weight that is blocking the grease, I don't see why a person just couldn't use the leveling jacks to take some weight off the wheels/axles/springs. Sure save a lot of work, and time, and avoid the chance of putting unnecessary stress on the frame at single points. JMO of course.

Our previous trailer (Reflection) came from the factory with zero grease in the wet bolts. Figured that out when I couldn't get grease into a single Zerk, even with a Lock-N-Lube grease gun. Had them all replaced under warranty.

I use a standard EP grease, nothing special required for this application.
