    AC runs constantly!

I’ve had nothing but trouble with this AC!
Had it in the dealer twice. They says it’s fine.

Problem is at dealers it’s usually only 15-20 C . Where we camp it’s 30-44c

I put a new receiver modual up in ac unit last year in hopes it would cure this problem.
    I’m in auto fan mode
If I raise the set point, you can hear the ac kick down but the fan runs constantly which ends up blowing hot air in trailer.

    Anyone have similar issues!
    Thanks

44c is 111f so like maybe it has to run all the time to do any amount of cooling.

Can you build a roof over your rig?

    Same thing blazer said - 44C is 111F; and 35C is 86F. That's HOT.

BOTH my ACs run constantly when in the mid to upper 90's (34C+) when I'm in direct sunlight and my thermostat is set to 77F (25C). It usually isn't until the evening when the outside temps dip that it finally starts to cycle.

Pull you bottom covers(s) off the AC unit in the ceiling. Make sure everything is sealed good and there is no cold air back-feeding into the intake.

BTW - what temp are you trying to maintain in the RV?

I challenge anyone to find an RV of any decent length with an A/C that will cycle on and off in 111F outside temp and keep the inside cool. That's a huge amount of heat to have to remove from a trailer. Things you could try are shade trees, awning toward the sun and open, the RV Airflow System upgrade or homemade diverter, etc.
