Grand Design replaced my mattress due to water leak. Brand new Sealy still in wrapped in plastic. I would like to sell it but have no idea what it is worth. I'm sure most if not all have replaced this particular mattress with an after-market (for lack of better words). Therefore, you know it isn't a very good mattress. Thanks.

I cut up mine and used it to replace the dinette seat cushion which were way to soft.

I have my old mattress sans cover. You are right, when I get up off seat cushion it is flat as a flitter. How did it work out for you?

It worked out great. The RV mattress has 3 layers. I only used 1 of them. Can't remember which one though. But it was pretty close to the same thickness as the dinette cushions. I just traced the cushion and the used a carpenters knife to cut it in the same shape. Now my butt is a lot less sore playing cards on rainy days.

great advice, thanks. Just wondering if your mattress is different than mine. Not sure about three layers. The mattress that came in mine is 6" thick. Thanks.

Ours to was 6in, I believe. There should be a zipper on the end. If you open it up, you should see 3 different kind of foam layers.
