Inverter wire size?

I recently added solar and a 2nd 12 volt battery and now wanting to add a 425 watt inverter. What would be the minimum size wire to use for the connection?

A 450W inverter should, if fully loaded will draw approx. 37 1/2 amps. Depending on how far away the inverter is from the battery, 8ga might do it, but if it were me, I would use 6ga.....as long as the inverter to battery distance is within several feet or so.
