My theory is based on the BTDT and the fact that many 1/2 ton truck owners towing over 6000lbs come on RV forums looking for solutions because they have towing issues. Not every 1/2 ton truck is equal and not every TT is designed the same. Your setup works great for you but may not work great for a Ram 1500 or a 145"wb F150 with a 6750lb GVWR. Or a 30' RK 7000+lb TT.
Thats why I suggest that if you're towing near 7000lbs to get a 3/4 ton truck. Then you won't have to sort out towing problems.
Your truck may not weigh that much less than a 3/4 ton gas but it certainly doesn't have the same frame and suspension that a 3/4 ton gas has.
If you actually towed your TT with a 3/4 ton truck you'd see the difference. I've BTDT with a previous TT. Trust me it's night and day different. Your setup works for you and thats great.
It's just my opinion and nothing else.

1-I think the ones that come on forums are just inexperienced not that they have an actual issue other than likely a poorly loaded trailer
2- I am lost as well how a frame and suspension can mitigate sway
I still have a full channel frame and leafs
Not arguing btw just see this said a lot and was curious of the physics behind it
It is heavily frowned upon to have a 6000 lb 1/2 ton hauling a 7000 pound trailer but a 9000 lb 1 ton can haul a 15000+ lbs without concern2021 Imagine 2400 BH

I have no opinion on the Hensley because I have no experience with it. I’ve been using a PP since I started pulling a trailer (2600RB), first with an Expedition and now with a F150. The PP works as advertised; great. I balked too because of price, but after talking with Sean (PP) I dove in. No regrets. If you follow the PP FB group there are used WDHs for sale occasionally.

The weight of the camper will ~= the weight of the truck (maybe 7,850 fully loaded towed by 7050 F150). Just for thee inquiring minds.

We are most likely going to settle on a PP as I'm too old to make more mistakes and really do not want to deal with dangerous situations that I can nip in the bud.

I gave up trying to get accepted on the PP FB group. It just never happened.

Yep. Thought it was pretty weird. I asked to join and after 3 days, no reply. Cancelled my request. Sean has only been 50% good on email answers. I guess he is just so swamped in sales, he doesn't have time. I keep riding left and right on the fence pertaining the decision PP or Arrow. The Arrow will cost ~grand less but the PP is a bit stronger with thicker metal in several key areas.
