    Schwintek Slide on 397ths

Hi, can any one recommend a dealer or mobile tech in Oregon or Washington. I just went full-time and the bedroom slide is stuck closed. Luckily. The dealer in California agreed to send the slide parts to me as they arrived after my departure date. (Sold my house)

Hey @NewAmericandream, looks like you're new here, welcome to the forum. Sorry, I can't help with a mobile tech. But you may find this Lippert course on the Schwintek slides helpful (https://lippert.thinkific.com/courses/Schwintek). Hope you have more pleasant dreams than nightmares with the new coach.

If you're handy and willing to dive in, there are plenty of experienced folk on this forum who can point you in the right direction.

Maybe Ken @orbiker will check in and have some suggestions. Ken is a long time forum member and Oregon/NW USA resident.

    Thanks, in advance Ken !

I highly recommend taking all of their online courses. I feel all too often people ask questions way too soon. Take these courses and since you are going full time, you will need them. It costs nothing but your time. The courses are free.

I've yet to have a problem with my slides but if I do, finding the parts will be my biggest issue. Replacing them should be something up my alley. With a little testing I should know which part is bad fairly quick.

I will definitely look into the courses. In this case the outer trim needs to be cut off to get access to the slide screws. Then the work can begin. So more than I'm willing to get into.

Rob @Second Chance often recommends this site for mobile techs if the online courses don't work out. http://rvservicereviews.com/RVServic...hAcquired=true
