    Waxing the exterior

It’s time to wash & wax the exterior of my Grand Design Reflection. Can someone recommend the best products to use and the best way to apply them?

Quite a few of us use the Wash Wax All. They sell a kit with rags and a pole. But. If you have a ladder all you need are a few rags. Easy, fast, and does a pretty good job.

    +1

Have also had good luck using Meguiar’s Gold Class car wash to clean it first. It hasn’t removed the Wash Wax All finish from the previous time.

I washed my entire coach, roof, slides, and exterior. with Chemical Guys extreme wash and wax. Did the roof, made a fresh bucket, and did the rest with an extension pole and a large soft brush. Used an Amazon filter on the end of my rinse hose. Towel dried, except the roof, when through. Fantastic results. The whole coach glistens.

I use Meguairs RV Gel Wash and Meguiars "Flagship" RV and Marine wax. I've been happy with both products and they are available on Amazon.

There are a million choices out there, but I've preferred to use what works well on our boat which is Star Brite Premium Marine Polish with PTEF. I also do the recommended second coat within about 30 days. It lasts long and makes the surface very slick.

If you use a wax that needs rubbed off I highly recommend a battery powered buffer like this one: https://www.ryobitools.com/products/details/33287167029
Not particularly pushing Ryobi, it is just the brand I am using now.

The soft rod head is perfect for washing tops, including sunroofs, and the adjustable angle locking attachment makes it even better. The gloves are of good quality and the long brush is sufficient.
