    No hot water to fixtures

My 2019 297RSTS Reflection has the Nautilus P1 panel. I am in the middle of a 75 day run through the Western US. I left Joshua NP this morning, everything is working fine. I got to Kings Canyon this afternoon and discovered no hot water pressure to any appliances. There is pressure to the HW tank, as evidenced by strong streams out the drain plug and the pressure relief valve.

Plenty of cold water pressure to all appliances.

I operate the HW bypass and get good pressure to all appliances.

Opened my drain valves for the hot water lines and no pressure, strong pressure on the cold water lines.

I assume this looks like my bypass valve is not functioning. Does anyone have any ideas to get me up and running?

A don't mind a cold showers occasionally, but DW disagrees.

If you operate your bypass valve and it gives you full pressure to all of your faucets I would say that the valve IS working and not your problem area. My guess is it's the check valve on the discharge side of your water heater is not functioning and not letting the hot water leave the tank.
Good luck and keep us posted on what you find out the problem is.

Thanks Sparky for saving me from working on the bypass valve side.

I unscrewed the top of the check valve and fished out the plunger then put it back together in just a few minutes.

Hot water again flows, and the trip continues.

I'll deal with replacing the valve this fall when I'm back home.

Tp access the check valve on the 297RSTS, remove the bottom drawer below the large closet.

Can you hi-light the valve in the pic? I assume the black device at the tank.

That is correct....looks like it's got a 90° fitting on it and then on to the hot water line.
