Well, it is officially 103 deg here with full, blazing unobstructed sun on the roof at 3PM. It is a comfy 77.8 deg in the trailer, as measured with my laser thermometer (and we have been running the fan on low all day). There is also no cycling of the A/C compressor (since the new thermostat and control box install). I am very impressed with this upgrade for Furrion. I think I'll keep it!

To take full advantage of your new RV Airflow, it’s a great idea to pull each register off the ceiling and spend some time sealing them into the attic ducting with some foil tape. I cannot believe how poorly these are sealed from GD. I got more flow from this than I did with only the RV Airflow!
While doing this in our 2500RL, I noticed that the “tubes” in the registers stuck up into the ducts so far that they almost hit the back! I used my Dremel with a small cutoff wheel to shorten each one so it only went into the duct. Then sealed the ever-living’ bajeezus out of them with foil tape. Airflow is so strong now that it’ll just about blow out a burner on the stove…. Took about an hour and a $10 roll of foil tape from Amazon.

@Chad from Oregon
Can you (or anyone) provide information on how to remove the round ceiling registers? Mine swivel 360° and I feel like I'm going to break something if I just pull them straight down.
Thanks!Bill & Colleen ~ Schwenksville, Pa

In my experience, it was a pain in the rear to get the registers off! The first time…
I had no info going into my first register-removal extravaganza, other than some folks saying “you just pull the middle section (rotating louver) down and it pops off”. Well, that’s correct. Since my fingernails are not made from carbon fiber, I used two butter knives. It took a minute to get the blade slipped into the very slim space between the two parts, but I did it. I put both knife blades in and worked in a prying motion till it popped apart. I thought I was gonna break it for sure, but nope. Not even a scratch.
Then you can remove the 4 screws and get to work! Reinstall is straight forward. The louver part snaps back into place. It’s all the way on when it sits back tight like it used to be! Good luck; don’t be scared. It’s worth it!!!

Thank you, Chad, I appreciate your details. So prying the center piece away from the base piece in the center of the vent is the way to go. Muchas gracias.

Yup. That’s how I did it. The material is more like a mildly flexible nylon than a hard plastic. You’re gonna swear it’s about to shatter, but I didn’t have damage to any of mine. I just popped them off, unscrewed to upper piece, cut the tubes down, reattached, and then foil-taped the hell out of them to the I side of the ducts.
You could also use a stiff putty knife if you’ve got one.
