    Air suspension seats

We have a 369RSL pulled by a SRW Ram 3500. The ride is getting to be too much for my wife’s back for any distance so I have been looking at aftermarket air suspension seats. Does anyone have any experience or insight on these seats and how they worked out for you? Obviously interested in brand recommendations

Have you given any thought to an Air hitch. I have a bad back and we have the AirSafe hitch and it clearly makes a huge difference in back comfort. My back knows when it is either aired to much or very low on air.

The 369RL is an older model, if I recall correctly. Did they come with a dampened pin box? If not, switching out a solid pin box for something like the MORryde rubber pin box can help a lot. This is the pin box the new Solitudes come with now.

I’d second what @WhittleBurner said on the air hitch. Between it and the Morryde pin box, I don’t get abrupt shock from the 310GK. I can’t feel anything when the trailer hits bumps. If it’s the truck ride you need to fix, I’d suggest going to a semi truck retailer. Sometimes they will have replacement aftermarket air seats that you can see and feel first hand. One brand is Grammer. I just put one in an old tractor I use for mowing and running a grain auger. Just couldn’t stand the stock seat anymore.

    Air suspension seats

Yeah it has the MorRyde rubber mounted pin Box, it bothers her even when we don’t have the trailer on. We pulled a friends trailer that didn’t have the rubber mounted pin box and you all are right it makes a big difference. It’s the shock coming up through the truck suspension.

My wife had same problem. Went to trailer Saver hitch and fixed it. It did away with about 95% the chucking and the big bumps on the expressway now seem small.

Just a thought, would having a dually help while towing? The 369 (still one of the best floor plans) has a pretty hefty pin weight. Or maybe enhance your trucks suspension to soften it up a little seeing as it sounds not much better while not towing
