Hot water heater check valve
Hello everyone. I have question I would like to put out. My hot water heater today decided that it was not interested in giving me hot water pressure. Everything I have found on you tube tells me it’s a check valve to keep antifreeze from flowing back to the water heater. I have the nautilus system with the color dials for dry camping, winterizing or city hook up.
The question is…… Do I need the check valve? The nautilus system should keep antifreeze out shouldn’t it? Any information or feedback from the group would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, but don’t purchase another plastic one. Easy to replace.
