    Carpet Tack Strips

Dies anyone have a better way to mash down the pointy tack strips that are on the carpet? I have been wacking it with a hammer and 2 x 4 and making very sliw progress.

You can see the pointy things sticking out of the carpet on both of them buggers.

    Thanks

Not sure which model you have, a picture might help.

I wish I had an answer. We keep finding sharp tacks when walking through the bedroom too.

I've never seen tack strips in an RV.

There are most likely staples coming up, but they aren't stretched over tack strips.
