    New GD Imagine owners

Just purchased 2022 GD 2600RB . Will pick up next week. Dealer is trying to sell me these addons. Eco-Pro appearance pkg.$1500 Tire protection $900. Roadside protection $500. Any thoughts on this. Also anyone else have a 2600RB and any issues?

Save your money, those are all money grabs for the dealer. Roadside protection is a good thing to have, but read that thing very, very carefully. Find out how far they'll tow, if they'll tow a trailer and truck, if they have to have someone in the area, etc. It's likely to also not be such a great deal, most aren't.

Congrats and welcome to the group. As previously mentioned, skip all of the money grab that the dealer is trying to make more money off of you. You'll quickly find that they're not worth or you can find it cheaper somewhere else.

I'm with others who suggested the add-ons are just money grabs. heck - you can join GoodSam or FMCA AND Coachnet for a lot less than what that dealers want for tire protection and roadside protection. I have no idea what an Eco-Pro appearance package is - maybe he means they will wash it before you pick it up?

oh - if you join FMCA beside being able to purchase their roadside assistance service you also get free medical emergency cover for just being an FMCA member.

and now I sound like an FMCA sales guy.......

    Welcome to the forum.

Welcome! Also agree the addons are definitely a money grab for them. Take that money and put it in a separate account, add 50 bucks a month and before you know it you have a good fund for your maintenance and repairs.

We have a 2021 2600 RB purchased in April 2021. Only minor issues so far. Handle broke on the refrigerator. (Is/was a common problem.) GD sent out new ones in less than one week. Had the propane regulator recall. The bottom plastic clip on the bathroom barn door broke. Warranty replacement. Otherwise all good and happy with it. Taking it out this weekend. Haven’t had it out since early May.

You just reminded me that I need to check to see if our regulator is on that recall list...thanks.
