I will have to do this mod as well
With our gas system down for most of the summer we were using an induction plate and enjoyed it other than dragging it out when we needed it
I tried cooking my pasta sauce on the gas when I got it fixed and even with it turned all the way down it was boiling the sauce.2021 Imagine 2400 BH

Laura's been using induction (either the portable unit on top of the counter or the new one once we got to Maryland) since March. She's really happy with induction. It has much finer control of the temp than with resistive electric and the induction surface cools down quickly when the pan is removed. Since I'm the cleanup person, I really like the glass surface.

Great job, Rob. Looks really good. I just hope my wife doesn’t see it; I don’t want to have to explain that I can’t do that nearly that well. 🥴
