Stuck on the road, Our turn to Whine

Also known as when it rains it pours. We're on our way north from FL. Stopped
Last night outside of Macon Ga, while walking the dog I see The puddle and stream of water coming from under the trailer.... It appears that the kant leak panel kan. It failed and fijlled the water tank which was overflowing... Easy enough to work around and off we went this morning

We stopped not long ago at a KYrest area, (1 hr away from stopping for the night) I noticed the drivers side tires are very close together. So we limped to Walmart in Willamsburg KY just down the road.
The bolt for the spring must have broken with a hard bump in GA and worked is way out of the spring and shackle bending the shackle some not long b4 we stopped.

When Lippert welded the shackle a few years back they did not screw around. No signs of it cracking..
A mobile tech is on the way to help bolt it back up.. Hope to get back on the road in a couple hours..

The exciting life of RV breakdowns caught up to us hard and fast!!..

On edit: Good Sams was 100% useless, "they have no one in the area" but if you find a mobile tech they will remburse the travel fee. Looks like it's time to explore towing services

Sorry to hear about your "mis-adventures". Hopefully, one you get the repair done, it will be smooth sailing for the rest of the trip home. Safe travels

RVin'..... NOT for the faint of heart.

Hang in there. At least you have a few more stories to tell around the campfire. Like we need more of those!

We lost a shackle bolt on a 2800bh 4 yrs ago. Had it repaired but the wheel alignment was apparently off. Had some uneven wear on the tires of that axle. Didn't really notice it until we traded it in on our 2670mk. Dealership reduced trade in value by $1500.

This was the axle that Lippert repaired on site about 4 years ago, the hanger they repaired stayed on strong in spite of being bent slightly. Tomorrow we'll take a good look and hope we can baby it the rest of the trip. if not we'll be looking for a shop to replace the hanger and equaflex with morryde hopefully... about another 8 hours of driving broke into 2 days.

The mobile tech was great he did get us rolling and out of the walmart parking lot
