    Lost partial power - 2015 Momentum 350m

We lost power to the main AC, part of the living room outlets, and microwave. The bedroom AC and outlets, and the fridge are still working.

The surge protector/voltage monitor at the pedestal shows normal voltage and a draw of 5 amps on one leg and 0 amps on the second leg. Blue light on power cord is illuminated where it plugs into trailer. No breakers are tripped. All fuses appear to be OK, at least no red lights next to any. When I fire up the generator, everything works.

    Suggestions?

I assume you're talking about the on-board generator? Sounds like a transfer switch problem. If you disconnect all AC from the RV, and remove the cover to the transfer switch, you might find one of the contacts is stuck on the shore power side.

Other option could be a problem with shore power cord, easy to check with a multimeter when disconnected from pedestal and RV, check for continuity.

I don't think it would be a transfer switch issue. We were on shore power for several hours and the lost partial power, I am assuming one leg. I then started the generator and everything worked. Shut off the generator and still only have partial power. Are there fuses or breakers on the converter itself that could trip?

Check that your power cord is inserted properly on the trailer end. The connector won’t make good contact if the ring isn’t tightened several turns.

I'll give it a check in the morning. Everything was ok for several hours before losing partial power.

    Thanks

You have 1 leg out. Probably at the pedestal.

Depending which surge protector you have, it should say the voltage of each leg. If both legs are 120v, then the pedestal isnt the issue.

Possible bad connection where the cord plugs in at the trailer. Or bad power cord missing one leg.
