Air Deflector
How many folks have installed air deflector on your tow vehicle and does it work? I read that they can increase gas mileage up to 3 mpg. I find this hard to believe.

I had one on a dually about 10 years ago. All it did was move the bug line up on the front cap.

These deflectors that mount on pickups to tow RVs are a gimmick. They work on tractor-trailers because the back of the cab is much taller and much closer to the front of the trailer - and the box trailers are square and flat (unlike more aerodynamic fifth wheel RVs). There have been many discussions on multiple forums about them - but not for quite a while. I'd say don't waste your money.
