    Cre3000 vs. sre4000 opinions

I’m looking at upgrading our suspension to either of these options. I’m replacing wet bolts, shackles, and adding moyride x bracing as well. There is a company call performance trailer braking that comes to your rig and installs. Any experience with these guys ? Any recommendations between the 2 moyride options in the title? Our old 5r had what I call a 1st. Generation cre3000 and it seemed to work fine.

    Thank you!

I don’t have any info between cre3000 & sre4000, but Performance Trailer was present at both Grand Design rallies we attended in Virginia. They were doing disc brake conversions, suspension upgrades, etc. and from word of mouth have a good reputation. If you do a search in the upper right you will see other threads referencing them.

I put CRE3000's on my 2020 Imagine 2670MK. Took me the better part of the day to complete the installation. Rides so much better. I also changed tires to Goodyears and had them balanced.

Performance trailer breaking has a great reputation. If I'm not mistaken they are at many of the rallies doing installs.

I put CRE3000 on my Momentum since it was rated higher capacity than the SRE4000. A majority of new campers from many manufacturers are coming with CRE3000 (not sure if that's a good indication or not to follow).

I echo this. install is pretty easy, ride is better, not as much lean on the turns with the suspension. Have the Endurance as well, no complaints, have not had to question the Goodyear death rate.

    Good luck.

How do you know it rides better?

Does anyone ride back there in a before/after test?

You can feel the smoother ride over bumps, especially known bumps like neighbor hood speed bumps. There are multiple speed bumps in our neighborhood. With the stock suspension they were just harsher in feel and in the side view mirror than the CRE3000. That’s how I know.
