Definitely overzealous with the glue when assembling.

You may not have one. The in my bathroom is for the black tank flush line.

The black tank flush line does not have an AAV, it has a vacuum breaker valve.

An Air Admittance Valve (AAV) is a one-way mechanical valve that is installed at the site of a plumbing fixture to allow proper venting to occur.

A vacuum breaker prevents back flow from the black tank when the water supply is turned off.

Larry. I know this is an old thread, but whay did you need to access the AAV? I'm getting air in my water system and we've looked at everything else. Water pump tests, no leaking anywhere else that we can find in the system.

The problem isn’t your AAV, it’s on the waste side of the plumbing not the supply side.

I unscrewed some of the panels below the kitchen sink.

Like Bunny said tho..... if you are getting air in your water system (which, I assume, is the water to your faucets) then the ACC valve is not you problem.
