A 15K BTU AC generally needs 20+/- amps to start and about 15 amps to run. With a Easystart, we have start and run ours at home on a 15 amp circuit.
The ones you mention are within 2 pound of each other.
The Champion 200987 will provide (running) 29.2 Amps. 3 year warranty. Champion warranty service is top notch!
The Wen is rated to run at 3400 watts/28.3 amps. 2 year warranty. No experience with Wen?

My gut says: use the AIRSTREAM discount code for the EasyStart to save $25 and wait for a sale on the Champion. Amazon is not always the cheapest.

I agree! I ordered one. Figure I can sell my predator for half of that and gain 1000 watts, remote start and the bigger wheels and handle. The Predator has served us very well and my only real issue with the Predator is getting it in and out of the toyhauler and maneuvering when we are boondocking with the little wheels.

We recently got back from 9 days of dry camping. I bought a Firman 3300W start/3000W continuous inverter generator. I was very happy with the unit. I paid $750 CDN. at Costco. I couldn't run the Kuerig and AC at the same time....not a big deal.....I shut off AC while I made a cup of coffee.

It is a little louder than the Honda 3000........but the Honda is $3,000 CDN. If I was dry camping a lot I might inverst in gthe Honda, but, once a year......I'll take the Firman.

My SIL bought the champion 4500 w/remote last week at Amazon for $689. I think the sale ran for 2 days. The next day it was $957. Today it's $924. The walmart deal looks like today's best bet.

I have a generac 3000i and it starts my 14500 btu air. It weighs 6d lbs which is only 10 lbs heavier than the small Honda and 400. Dollars cheaper. I didn’t want to install a soft start in fear of violating any warranties being it was a new trailer.
