    Battery Charge Question

Folks I am getting a new battery tomorrow for my 2250rk. Question is what maintenance do I need to undertake. My trailer is plugged into shore power at all times. Thus do I still need to charge the battery periodically or does it stay charged. Tia

What kind of battery is it? Lead-acid, AGM, lithium? If lead-acid you'll need to check the electrolyte levels every 1 - 2 months. If AGM or lithium, the stock converter-charger in your RV may not be designed for it and may need to be replaced/upgraded to get full use of a battery other than lead-acid. The on-board converter-charger is a "smart" battery charger and will keep your (assumed) lead-acid battery charged properly if your unit is always plugged into shore power.

Very true Rob, as long as he leaves the battery disconnect turn ON!
